Faith Lutheran Music Ministry
Music at Faith Lutheran is abundant! We offer many ways for members and visitors to sing and play praises to our Lord!
Chancel Singers-Our adult choir meets and rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:00. We perform during church services on an average of twice a month and enjoy several different styles and genres of music!
Hand Bell Choir – The Hand Bell choir meets and rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 in the Sanctuary. Faith Lutheran owns a four octave set of Shulemrich Bells and also enjoy ringing several different styles and genres of worship music!
Instrumental/Vocal Music – Solo and small ensemble opportunities are available throughout the year! Whether accompanying the Chancel Singers or performing alone, we encourage members to volunteer to participate!
Joyful Noise – This is our newest musical group at the church. This group is for students K-12. Joyful Noise meets Wednesday nights from 6:00-6:30pm in the choir room. There will be singing, ringing and playing instruments, while the focus is faith development. Leanne White is the leader of this group. Contact her at lwhite@faithseguin.org if you have questions.
Music for Children is also offered by members of the music ministry to our young people as a part of the Sunday School hour.
Accompanist Needed
Faith Lutheran Church is seeking a skilled accompanist (Piano and/or organ) to support Sunday worship services, with occasional weekday services as required by the liturgical season (such as Lent). The congregation is also in need of an accompanist for the adult choir. While one individual filling both roles is preferred, the responsibilities may be divided into two separate positions for qualified candidates. The adult choir rehearses once a week and performs on a average of once a month during Sunday worship.
