Frequently Asked Questions

Are you licensed?
We are a licensed child care facility under the State of Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

What are your school hours?
Our hours are 8:30 – 11:30 daily for preschool. For children enrolled in full-time preschool plus extended care our hours are from 7:00 am through 6:00 pm.

Do you offer early drop off?
We offer a 7:00 am drop off on a contract basis to those interested. Please call our director to enroll in early drop off.

Do you have any formal religious classes or instruction?
Our curriculum is Christian based and teaches the basics of the Bible in easy to apply method. Students and their families are always welcome to join us for worship on Sunday mornings! Our students also attend a short chapel time each week on Wednesdays.

What is your typical day look like?
We are a structured program and follow daily schedules, which vary by each class. Please review the Curriculum section for more information about the different classes offered.

What is the typical day curriculum like?  The curriculum is thematic based and themes are changed on a regular basis. Themes are relevant to the child’s word so that they have concrete experiences from which to learn. Experiences are provided to celebrate the diversity of God’s people. Activities and concepts are adjusted to meet the needs of the developmental age level of each group.

Gross motor skills, music and movement are all important to the child’s learning. Children will explore special interest centers through planned, purposeful play including blocks, computers, housekeeping, science and nature, books, art and writing. These hands-on experiences will enhance pre-reading, pre-language and pre-math skills.

When is your First Day of School?
Our first day of school is the day after Labor Day. We also offer a summer program for children that are previously enrolled and students that are enrolled for the fall preschool program.
